Dr. Sterling Hancock, D.C., received a Bachelor of Science undergraduate degree in Exercise Science and then graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors from Palmer College of Chiropractic West.
Prior to becoming a chiropractor, Dr. Sterling played soccer professionally along with appearing for the United States Futsal National Team. He knows first-hand what it is like to experience frustrating injuries. After being dissatisfied with traditional medical treatment for his own injuries, hands-on manual therapy and chiropractic care opened his eyes to an alternative approach and ignited a passion for understanding the human body.
Dr. Sterling is committed to providing patient-centered and evidence-based care. His detail-oriented approach includes movement assessment, personalized corrective care exercises, and manual therapy. He believes strongly in being proactive with health and preventing injuries, using his unique knowledge from his sports background blended with his understanding of anatomy and biomechanics to help you perform at your best and stay healthy. Dr. Sterling has also completed post-graduate training in FAKTR (Functional and Kinetic Treatment with Rehab), Fascial Manipulation Institute by Stecco, and MPI (Motion Palpation Institute).
A Bay Area native, Dr. Sterling is excited to give back to his community. In his spare time, he coaches youth soccer, is an avid photographer and enjoys weight training, reading, and cooking.
